Join us for an inspiring afternoon as we welcome back Judi Holler to our Annual Membership Event! Judi is an expert on personal branding who helps Event Professionals learn how to expand their network, embrace fear and get a competitive edge. Judi has spent over 15 years working in Sales and Marketing for companies like Marriott, Omni, Starwood, and most recently the St. Louis CVB.
She was recently selected as one of Connect Magazines 40 under 40 in the Hospitality Industry and is the immediate Past President of MPI Chicago. Judi imagines a world where everyone believes that what they have is good enough and where you have the confidence to pick yourself. She will show you how!
Following Judi’s presentation there will be a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beer, wine, and soda. Committee members will be on hand to promote involvement in our chapter and answer any questions you may have about maximizing your membership.
Participants will learn how to fight fear and get brave, so they can avoid self destruction and have less emotional reactivity in stressful situations. You will also discover how to get the most out of your MPI membership, and network with industry professionals.
How would you feel if ...
•You had less emotional reactivity in stressful situations
•You could easily separate things you can control from those you cant
•You felt more organized and less overwhelmed
•You weren't burdened by a fear of failure
•You could manage you fear and finally start taking action
•You could make yourself a priority (and feel less guilty about it!)
This interactive session uses the fundamentals of improv theatre to help participants fight fear and get brave, so they can avoid self destruction and have less emotional reactivity in stressful situations.
Each participant will receive their very own workbook and will walk step by step through a fear setting exercise that will help them take action and begin to put a plan in place personally and/or professionally to start advancing a dream or goal they have.
Participants will take-a-way the following

•How to survive in times of change
•The 5-Step framework that will help you take action
