To get the information you need for your CMP certification or re-certification…
You need 2 types of information in order to get credit:
- Information about the event
- Proof that you attended the event
MPI NENY assists you in this process by keeping track of much of this information for you. When you attend an event hosted by MPI NENY that includes education that qualifies for credit toward CMP, you will receive an email after the event with a link to a CEU form for the event. You should print this form for your records as it includes all the necessary information and will be needed as documentation for your certification.
An Important Note:
In order for a CEU to be accepted by the Convention Industry Council toward the required clock hours, the education topic must relate directly to a specific Domain in the CIC International Standards. MPI NENY submits descriptions of upcoming events to the CIC for approval. If CIC approves the event, MPI NENY will note this on the CEU form and indicate the specific Domain that it relates to.
Log in to the Cvent Member Website. If you haven’t done this before you will need to create a user name and password.
From here you will see a list of all your past events. This is a good list to print out for your records because you can see your Status as “Accepted” if you registered for the particular event.
