| Job Description: |
- Must possess the ability to solicit, develop and maintain large corporate
and association accounts
as defined by groups using a minimum of 10 room nights per night.
- Responsibilities include establishing long distance geographic markets to
produce meeting,
conference or tradeshow business and assisting the Director of Sales in
developing departmental
marketing plans, plans of action and budgets as it relates to the corporate
market.
- Continually plans, suggests, and details programs with clients in regards
to account needs and
maintain concentration on business that utilizes all aspects of the resort.
- Always seek to maintain appropriate files on current and potential
customers and must achieve
monthly sales goals that relate to all market segments.
- Is consistently available to assist with attending trade shows and having
the ability to negotiate
contracts with the best interest of Turning Stone Resort & Casino.
- Develops and maintains a professional relationship with the Hotel
Operations, Director of Sales,
Catering/Convention Services and Catering Managers related to the
development of business.

| Job Requirements: |
|
- Must possess a four year degree or equivalent experience in Hotel Sales,
Hospitality industry, or
related field.
- Must have three years of related work experience.
- Possess above average verbal and written communications skills.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle difficult situations.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
- Knowledge and experience using various office software programs (ie: MS
Office....).

| Responsibilities: |
- Oversee SGR bus program – drive prospecting program for busses, meet and exceed annual bus program goals, coordinate and follow up on bus and tour group activities and schedules (seasonally and as needed) meet and greet busses as needed.
- Supervise Group Sales Assistant – including scheduling and training
- Maintain all contact files, including group history, mailing lists and samples of mailers.
- Ensures timely and outstanding execution of plans for groups
- Ensures thorough communication of plans for groups to all related departments
- Coordinates with food and beverage department on plans and details for groups.
- Provides expense reports for promotions, special events and reports outcome of same when project leader.
- Represent SGR at trade shows and through B2B sales.
- Oversee planning and execution of trade shows.
- Promotes exceptional guest relations.
- Provides outstanding guest service.
- Promotes campaigns fostering favorable community relations.
- Interfaces daily with personnel from various departments.
- Acts with discretion and maintains confidentiality in handling of sensitive information.

- Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (overnight travel rare)

- Email cage for vouchers
- Work with PEC to print bocas and cards
- Greet busses and handle all registrations
- Deposits (daily) –
- Enter into Delphi, process for accounting
- Named Races (weekly) –
- Prepare and distribute named race form
- Create photo form for mailing, mail photos after the event
- Double check blanket invoices for accuracy
- BEO Packets (weekly) –
- Prepare BEO packets for weekly meeting
